The 'natural saints' who are called magi, are given power over the energies of nature.

For there are holy men in God who serve the beatific life; they are called saints.

But there are also holy men in God who serve the forces of nature, and they are called magi.

(Paracelsus)

The Magi taught us to follow our faith.

The light that knows the way.

Not from here.

Not from there.

Not from anywhere.

And yet.

Still present.

Still conscious.

Still connected.

Here.

There.

Everywhere.

The Stars.

The Signs.

The Symbols.

Three of a kind.

Body.

Mind.

Spirit.

Gifts,

for being alive,

in this incarnation.

Gifts,

to be treasured,

to be honed.

Here,

there,

everywhere.

Caring for the body.

Steadying the seeing.

Deepening the loving.

Not one alone,

but them all.

For neglect of one,

dims the others.

The body remembers through care.

The mind awakens through truth.

The spirit rises through love.

Here come the three Magi.

Not riding camels,

but arriving as remembrance.

To feed the vessel.

To clarify the witness.

To stoke the flame.

Not one,

but the whole.

Honoring our sanctity.

Honoring our divinity.

Honoring our incarnation.

A gentle reminder to us all:

These gifts were never scarce.

They were never reserved.

They are for all of us.

If only we dare,

to become humans,

... again.
