The invisible field of transformation.

I wanted to change the world. But I have found that the only thing one can be sure of changing is oneself.

(Aldous Huxley)

Event Horizon by Nate Hill

For reading It’s Not Personal, we suggest listening to

“Always Enough” by Beautiful Chorus:

Most people believe

transformation is personal.

And it most certainly is.

In the beginning,

it happens quietly.

Inside the hidden chambers

where no one else can enter.

We see our thoughts.

We feel our wounds,

without obeying them.

We remember our truth.

Our self begins

to become whole.

And yet,

personal transformation

is never only personal.

Because nothing

is only personal.

To every cause,

there is an effect.

To every movement,

there is a response.

What changes within

is reflected without.

What is healed in one place

alters the field around it.

The Hermetic principle

of Correspondence

whispers:

as within,

so without;

as above,

so below.

The Vedas speak

of consciousness

as one indivisible field

appearing as many.

Buddhism reminds us

that nothing exists by itself,

nothing breathes alone,

nothing awakens alone.

Kabbalah depicts creation

as a living Tree,

where every sephirah,

every ascent, every descent,

echoes through the whole.

We are not separate beings

trying to become connected.

We are one field

learning to remember itself.

Just like the spider’s web.

When you touch one strand,

the whole web trembles.

And so it is

with consciousness.

Every thought purified,

every fear dissolved,

every judgment released,

subtly alters

the invisible field

shared by us all.

You may never witness

the ripple

with your eyes.

You may never see

how one moment

of restraint,

one gesture

of compassion,

one refusal

to repeat the cycle,

changed the course

of other lives.

But that does not mean

that the ripple

is not real.

Mary Magdalene

embodied this mystery

in the alchemy of the heart.

Kenosis.

The sacred emptying

through which the human heart

becomes transparent

to divine love.

She reminds us

that the alchemy

of transformation

is achieved from within.

Eros is embraced

and refined.

Desire is acknowledged

and purified.

The longing to possess

is emptied

until it becomes

the willingness to bless.

The fire

that once wanted

to consume

becomes the flame

that learns

to illumine.

Human desire

is transmuted

into unconditional love.

Eros becomes Agape.

Through that inner work,

the world is changed.

Not by trying

to awaken others

before we have awakened

what sleeps

within ourselves.

But by becoming

a different presence

in the web.

The world changes

one consciousness

at a time.

Because at its deepest level,

there is only one Consciousness

expressing itself

through countless forms.

So do not underestimate

the work

you are doing

within.

Do not think

your forgiveness

ends with you.

When you raise

your own vibration,

you do more

than transform yourself.

You become

a silent force

in the awakening

of the whole.

Bless the fear

that finally bowed

before love.

Bless the self

that stopped trying

to save the world

and began

to become

a world worth sharing.

May what is healed in you

serve the healing of all.

May what is awakened in you

remember the One

within the many.

May your becoming

be a blessing

beyond your knowing.

Yo lo Creo.

I believe, and so it is.
