Respect

Respect yourself and others will respect you.

When we look back to what is,

what do we learn?

If nothing has changed,

we are not seeing clearly.

Nothing is the same,

we evolve continuously,

eternally.

When we see,

with regard,

we learn.

It may not be what we expected,

but it is there.

The only way to learn,

is to observe,

with due respect.

The less we expect,

the more we see,

the more we learn.

The more we respect,

the more we can be.

Our regard

is ours

to protect.

When we have regard,

we can share it.

With regard to who we are,

we respect our essence.

With regard to others,

we respect their essence.

We respect ourselves,

having regard for ourselves,

being who we are.

We respect others,

having regard for them,

seeing them as they are.

Look back now,

respect,

see everything with regard.
