Full Moon in Taurus.

Full Moon in Taurus.

Full Moon in Taurus.

Returning to the Hearth.

Home is not where the journey ends. It is where we remember how to begin again.

Some journeys take us beyond what we know, only to return us to what we have always been.

The greatest gift may not be what we discover, but what we become willing to receive.

At the New Moon in Libra, we planted a seed of Oneness through right relationship.

We remembered that the One lives through the Many. That we can remain true to ourselves while recognising that we belong to one another.

And now, the wheel turns again.

The Full Moon in Taurus arrives on 26 October 2026, illuminating another dimension of these teachings.

Our relationship with the Earth, our bodies, and the Mystery that holds us.

Taurus, an Earth sign, draws us into stability, nourishment, the life of the senses and the tangible abundance of Life.

Opposite it, the Sun in Scorpio illuminates what lies beneath the surface: the unseen, the unknown, transformation and surrender.

Together, they invite us to explore the relationship between what sustains us and what transforms us.

Between grounding and surrender.

Between the familiar and the Mystery.

Between what we know and what we are willing to receive.

Perhaps this is the medicine of Taurus.

We do not need to leave our bodies, our relationships or our humanity to encounter the sacred.

We are invited to return to them.

To our breath. Our senses. The Earth beneath our feet.

To the loving awareness that remains when we stop trying to become something other than what we are.

To come home.

Not necessarily to a place, but to a presence.

To the hearth, the living centre of our being.

This Full Moon invites us to enter the Mystery without insisting upon what it must reveal.

Without expectations. Without visions to demand. Without questions that must be answered.

Only the willingness to receive.

We spend so much of our lives anticipating, interpreting and attempting to control what comes next.

Even our spiritual journeys can become another form of seeking. Another experience to accumulate. Another revelation to pursue.

But what if, for once, we have nothing to seek?

What if we simply allow ourselves to be received?

Perhaps surrender begins here.

Not by abandoning ourselves, relinquishing discernment or responsibility, but by releasing our insistence that Life must unfold according to our expectations.

Making peace with what was.

Being present to what is.

Trusting what has yet to become.

Surrender is not the absence of participation. It is learning to participate without needing to control the outcome.

This brings us back to the seed planted under Libra.

Oneness through right relationship.

If we truly belong to one another, receiving is as much a part of reciprocity as giving.

If we recognise that we are held by Life, perhaps we can release the belief that we must sustain everything ourselves.

And if the Earth is not merely where we live, but a living relationship in which we participate, perhaps returning home begins by allowing ourselves to be held.

The sacred is not somewhere else.

It is here.

In the breath entering our lungs. The heartbeat that continues without our instruction. The hands that hold us. The soil that receives the seed. The silence that allows us to hear what was always speaking.

Under this Full Moon, we are invited to contemplate what has grown from the seed planted in Libra.

Perhaps the harvest is not an achievement, an answer or a revelation.

Perhaps it is the growing capacity to receive.

To welcome without possessing.

To listen without demanding.

To trust without requiring certainty.

And what of the seeds that will come next?

We do not need to know.

Not every teaching asks to be understood immediately. Not every experience asks to be explained. Not every seed is ready to be planted the moment it is received.

Some need darkness. Some require silence, patience and the discernment that comes with time.

We can allow them to rest until their season arrives.

For now, perhaps our practice is simply to become available.

Available to Life.

Available to Love.

Available to receive what is ours to receive.

And to remember that whatever journeys await us, however far beyond the familiar they may take us, there is always a way home.

Through the breath.

Through the body.

Through loving awareness.

Through the hearth at the centre of our being.

Home is not where the journey ends. It is where we remember how to begin again.

Remember

Home is not where the journey ends. It is where we remember how to begin again.

Some journeys take us beyond what we know, only to return us to what we have always been.

The greatest gift may not be what we discover, but what we become willing to receive.

Practice

Find a quiet place.

Sit comfortably with both feet upon the Earth. Place one hand on your heart and the other on your belly.

Take twelve slow, conscious breaths.

Feel the Earth supporting you. Allow yourself to be present without needing to do anything.

Imagine a gentle warmth at the centre of your heart.

Your hearth.

The place within you where Love remains, even as everything around you changes.

Bring to mind the people, relationships and gifts that sustain your life.

Notice what it feels like to be held.

Without needing to earn the gift, explain it or reciprocate immediately.

Simply receive.

Then ask yourself:

What am I ready to receive?

What am I still trying to control?

What would it mean to trust this moment?

Do not search for answers.

Listen.

Return to your breath, remembering that your hearth is always available to you.

Journaling

  • Where in my life have I confused surrender with losing control?
  • What relationships, gifts or forms of support have been sustaining me without my fully recognising them?
  • What am I being invited to receive without judgment or expectation?
  • What might become possible if I trusted that not everything needs to be understood or acted upon before its time?

Blessing

May I remember that I belong, that I am held, and that Love is always inviting me home.

May I remain rooted in Mother Earth while keeping my heart open to the Mystery of Father Sky.

May I receive with gratitude, give with Love, and honour the reciprocity that sustains all our relations.

May I surrender what I cannot control without relinquishing responsibility for what has been entrusted to my care.

May I welcome the unknown without demanding that it reveal itself before its time.

May I allow every gift, teaching and experience to find its rightful place within my life.

And wherever my journey takes me, may I always remember the way home.

To my breath. My body. My loving awareness.

To the hearth at the centre of my being.

Yo lo Creo / I believe, and so it is.
